“Now, more than ever, our society is in need of sensitive and empathic people. Now, more than ever, the human race needs to go inwards and connect with the Soul again. As natural born healers, intuitives, and mentors, it is not only our responsibility but also our destiny to help humanity heal.” -Aletheia Luna

My heart breaks for the fear and injustice that the black community has to experience on a day to day basis. As a sensitive soul who has struggled with nervous system dysfunction, I simply cannot imagine how hard it is to have a regulated nervous system and also be black. To know that something as simple as going for a run or sleeping in your own bed at night can get you killed, is an unimaginable burden to bare, and something that cannot be tolerated. We must all come together and expect something better. I sincerely apologize that it has taken this movement for me to speak out about this publicly. My privilege allowed me to listen when it was convenient, and not to feel the burden deep in my soul every day. That is not longer acceptable. I know as sensitive souls our empathy, kindness and compassion can be an amazing healing force in the world. We just have to feel strong enough to keep using it. I encourage you to keep going. Keep sharing your voice. Keep standing up for what you know in your heart is right. Even though it is very painful don't look away, we need all hands on deck.
