A Gentle Place

to Begin

A Supportive Guide for Exploring the Yoga for the Sensitive Soul On-Demand Library

Welcome.

Whether you’re new to yoga, returning after time away, or simply new to my on-demand yoga library, you’re warmly welcomed here.

This space was created to support sensitive nervous systems. You don’t need to do long or intense practices to receive benefit. Even a few minutes of intentional movement, breath, or rest can meaningfully shift how you feel.

There is no “right” way to use this library. Let this be a space where you move gently, listen inward, and meet yourself with care.

Three Gentle Ways to Begin Your Online Yoga Practice

If the number of classes feels overwhelming, you might start with one of these simple pathways.

1) If you’re easing in or building comfort with yoga

You may enjoy classes such as:

  • Gentle Yoga

  • Restorative Yoga

  • Short Practices (10–20 minutes)

  • Quick Stress Relief Classes

These practices support nervous system safety, confidence, and consistency without pressure.

2) If you’re feeling depleted, overwhelmed, or needing restoration

You may be drawn to:

  • Restorative Yoga

  • Yin Yoga

  • Quick Stress Relief Classes

These gentle online yoga offerings prioritize regulation prioritize regulation, grounding, rest, and emotional support.

3) If you’d like a simple rhythm to support consistency

You might choose:

  • Two or three days per week to practice

  • One longer nourishing class (consider the weekly livestream class or featured class of the week)

  • One or two shorter supportive practices

Saving or bookmarking a few favorites can reduce decision fatigue and make it easier to return to your mat.

Choosing a Class in the On-Demand Libary

Rather than asking, “What class should I do?” try gently asking:
“What would truly support me today?”

You might notice:

  • Do I need grounding, rest, energy, emotional support, or gentle movement?

  • How much time and capacity do I realistically have right now?

  • Would shorter feel more supportive than longer today? (Gentle reminder that more is not always better)

Consistency matters more than doing the “perfect” class. If you find yourself searching through the library with netflix style decision fatigue, just pick the first class that catches your eye and go from there.

Tune in. Let your body, breath, and nervous system guide the choice.

Gentle Reminders

  • Repeating the same class many times can be deeply regulating and supportive.

  • You are always welcome and encouraged to pause, modify, rest, or stop early.

  • Short practices absolutely count.

  • Your sensitivity is not something to fix — it is something to honor and work with wisely.

Your practice does not need to look like anyone else’s. I will always guide you to listen to your own inner knowing and trust your body.
